Three brothers in trouble for killing their father

Police in Apac district have arrested three siblings for killing their own father in a domestic brawl.

Christopher Ongu, the Officer in charge Ibuje Ibuje Police Station says the siblings assaulted their 45-year-old Denis Okwir a resident of Rwakisaza Village, Aganga parish in Ibuje Sub County to death on Sunday evening, following a misunderstanding with their mother.

Hell broke loose when Okwir returned home around 6 pm from a drinking joint and picked a quarrel with his wife, Hellen Akello over unknown reasons leading to a fight.

Their children identified as; Jackson Obia, 24, Ronald Akena 22 and Caesar Ayoo 18 intervened and beat up their father.  
Okwir was rushed to a private clinic in Igoti trading center, Aganga parish where he was pronounced him dead on arrival.

Police was called to the scene and picked up the three siblings. They are currently locked up at Apac Central Police Station.  

According to Ongu, detectives visited the scene of crime and collected exhibits to aid their ongoing investigations.
