World Netball Names Technical Officials for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

World Netball (WN) has announced the appointment of International Technical Officials (ITOs) and National Technical Officials (NTOs) who will oversee officiating duties during the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

A total of 20 International Technical Officials have been selected, including members of the Event Judicial Panel (EJP), Umpire Appointments Panel (UAP), and Match Officials (Umpires). In addition, 22 National Technical Officials have been appointed to serve in key operational roles such as Bench Coordinators, Bench Managers, Technical Officials, and Statisticians.

World Netball also confirmed that non-travelling reserve officials have been identified but will only be named if required.

The appointments complete the team of officials for the Games, following the selection of Technical Delegate Kate Agnew in May 2025.

Among the officials appointed to the Jury of Appeal are Vicky Lowe, Catherine Lewis, and Cyrus Medora. The Umpire Appointments Panel will comprise Jacqui Jashari, Tracy Skipp, Fay Meiklejohn, and Chris Campbell.

The 13 Match Officials selected to officiate games at the tournament include Bronwen Adams, Justin Barnes, Georgina Sulley-Beales, Tania Fink, Kate Mann, Louise Travis, Tracy-Ann Griffiths, Angela Armstrong-Lush, Kristie Simpson, Alison Harrison, Gary Burgess, Gareth Fowler, and Ken Metekingi.

The National Technical Officials team includes three Bench Coordinators; Karen Cartwright, Frances Anne Doyle, and Patricia Percy, and two Bench Managers, Wendy Broad and Jackie Gregory.

Nine Technical Officials have also been appointed: Kirsty Campbell, Lauren Deacon (Matthews), Debra Devlin, Marcia Gittens, Lynne Gordon, Tracy Stubbs, Claire Watson, Claire Williams, and Cleo Wyman.

The team is completed by eight Statisticians: Felicity O’Leary, Toni Brunsdon, Callum Dashfield, Lianne Dooley, Lynsey Ganderton, Jan Johnson, Eliza Mather, and Cathy Maynard.

Speaking on the announcement, World Netball President Dame Liz Nicholl DBE praised the contribution of officials to the sport’s growth and success.

“We are extremely lucky at World Netball to have so many incredible officials around the globe who work tirelessly to ensure the integrity of our game is maintained as it grows,” she said.

“We know these events are often the highlight of an official’s career, and we have no doubt that Glasgow 2026 will live up to their expectations.”

The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will bring together athletes and officials from across the Commonwealth, with netball expected to be one of the marquee events of the competition.
