Over 34 suspects arrested in criminal acts along the Northern Bypass

The police at Kira road have in custody over 34 suspects arrested from the areas of Kisasi, Ntinda, and Kiwatule, on allegations of participating in crime along the northern bypass.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the PRO Kampala Metropolitan Police says that among the suspects is a young man who was caught red-handed with a stone, ready to hit a driver that had been stranded by the roadside.

Owoyesigyire says the suspects will be arraigned in the courts of law as soon as possible.

He reiterated that police and sister security agencies will continue protecting life and properties of road users on the Northern bypass.

Owoyesigyire also warned criminals that these operations will continue, and those arrested will be charged in Courts of law.
