Boda boda rider shot and killed by security guard in Kampala on Easter Monday

The boda boda rider who was shot and injured by a security guard at Equatorial mall in Kampala has died.

The unidentified rider was confirmed dead after his colleagues allegedly dropped his body at Gaz Petrol station in Kanyanya.  Police has conveyed the body to city mortuary Mulago for Postmortem. 

SP Luke Owoyesigyire the deputy spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan police station says Police at CPS Kampala arrested Opedunu Morris, a security guard with Pinnacle Security who shot the rider at Equatorial Shopping Mall, Kampala at around 6:30 PM on Easter Monday.

The gun allegedly used in the shooting was recovered with 4 rounds of ammunition and a cartridge.
