Woman murdered, body dumped in garden

The police in Budaka District is investigating the murder of a 31-year-old woman whose body was found lying in a pool of blood in a garden.

The deceased has been identified as Nakelo Sifuloza, a wife of Kigaye Clement, a resident of Nakibulu village Macholi ward Budaka district.

It is alleged that on 19/3/2022, the deceased went for her routine saloon work but by 11 pm, she had not returned home.

According to her husband, the deceased always returned home by 7 pm and this worried him. He made a report of the disappearance of his wife at around 0750/c.

According to Alaso Immaculate the PRO Bukeddi, they received information from Wasoma Dongo the chairman LC1, Naigobya village that there was a body lying in a garden near Lugwere Bible monument.

A team of Homicide and SOCO officers visited and documented the scene.

The body was found in a pool of blood and conveyed to Mbale city mortuary for postmortem.

Alaso says investigations into the matter are underway.
