Independent Candidate wins Bishop Stuart University Guild Elections as FDC candidate spends night in jail

The Forum for Democratic Change, FDC Party has condemned the arrest of their Guild presidential candidate for Bishop Stuart University, BSU Mbarara Twijukye Colleb.

According to the Party, Twijukye was arrested yesterday at 3 pm for taking a shot of a stuffed ballot box favoring the NRM candidate.

“Colleb spent his night at Mbarara Central police station. We can’t tell if he’ll be released or produced in court today. This is a clear indication of a fake election organized by the university administration” the Party said on their Facebook page this morning.
