48-year-old Woman, housekeeper escape murder in Makindye

The police at Katwe in the Kampala Metropolitan area are searching for unknown persons who attacked and attempted to kill Aisha Nakitende, 48 and her maid Olivia Namatovu, 23.

According to Asp Luke Owoyesigyire Deputy PRO KMP, it is alleged that today (16.10.2021) at about 5 am, the duo was out doing housework when unidentified people attacked and stabbed them multiple times at Nswa Zone, Makindye Division in Kampala City.

The duo sustained serious injuries.

They were later rushed by the community to Mulago National Referral Hospital and Malcolm Clinic Kibuye but in critical conditions. 

The police were later informed by the local leaders and a team of officers was dispatched to the scene.

Owoyesigyire says that investigations are on to establish who could be behind the attempted murder.
