138 fatalities recorded following accidents in last two weeks – Audio
A total of 138 people have died in 774 accidents that occurred in the last two weeks.
Faridah Nampiima the Pro traffic told the media at Naguru police headquarters on Monday that a total of 419 accidents were recorded in the week of 5th to 11 June. 81 fatalities were recorded.
In the week of 12th to 18th June 2022, 355 accidents were reported and 57 people died.
She warned drivers, Boda Boda riders and driving school owners that operations to arrest those with expired licenses, carrying two passengers and operating without operating licenses are ongoing.
