12 Heads of State arrive tomorrow for Museveni’s Swearing in Ceremony; Kagame, Kenyatta & Suluhu not on the list

12 heads of state and delegations are expected to arrive in Uganda tomorrow Tuesday, ahead of President Elect Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Swearing in Ceremony.

Those arriving tomorrow include; President of Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, President of Republic of Guinea, Alpha Condé, Prime Minister of Gabon, Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda and AUC Chairperson, H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat.

Others are; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister of Combatants of Mozambique, Jaime Neto, President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of Burundi, General Évariste Ndayishimiye, Russian Federation Presidential Representative and the EAC SG.

Other dignitaries include; President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, International Conference on Great Lakes Region ES, President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, Republic of South Africa Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, IGAD ES and the Federal Republic of Nigeria Vice President, Oluyemi Oluleke “Yemi” Osinbajo.

It remains unclear why Heads of State from the neighboring countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda are not on the list, shared by the Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Linda Nabusayi, on Monday morning.

President Museveni will be sworn in on Wednesday 12th May 2021, for his 6th term.
