Seeta Police Arrest Suspects in Murder of Radiographer Dr. Mubiru

Police in Seeta have arrested several suspects in connection with an aggravated robbery and murder that led to the death of Dr Mubiru Peter, a radiography specialist attached to Happy Doctor Clinic.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the incident occurred on April 19, 2026, at around 7:00 PM in Bagala Zone, Goma Division, Mukono Municipality. Dr Mubiru was attacked by assailants riding on a motorcycle as he returned home.

He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Mulago National Referral Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Owoyesigyire says intelligence-led operations have since led to the arrest of several suspects believed to be linked to the crime. The suspects have been identified as Mususwa Abubaker, Olowo Joshua, Muyanja George, and Basibu Umar.

Investigations are ongoing, including efforts to recover exhibits and obtain a postmortem report. Police say further updates will be provided as inquiries progress.
