Masaka District Woman MP dead as Namutumba LCV Chairman Succumbs to COVID-19

Masaka District Woman Member of Parliament and also National Resistance Movement-NRM parliamentary candidate Freda Mubanda Kasse is dead.

The MP died last night at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi where she had been rushed last month for medical attention following a mysterious illness. She had breathing difficulties

Mubanda was first taken to a private medical facility in Kampala after developing cough and flu before being referred to Aga Khan Hospital. The family however says she tested negative for COVID-19.

Meanwhile,

Namutumba District LC V Chairperson Hajji Saleh Kumbuga has succumbed to COVID-19.

Hajji Kumbuga passed this morning at Mulago National Referral Hospital, where he had been admitted for two weeks in intensive care.
