Man stabs wife to death in Buyende district

The police in Buyende are hunting for a man identified as Kagoda Ronald a resident of Bukose Bugaya, Ngandho Parish, Ngandho Subcounty, Buyende district, on allegations of murdering his wife, Ndekaire Elizabeth 21.

The incident occurred last night at an unknown time at their marital home.

According to ASP Kasadha Michael the PRO Busoga North, the couple reportedly engaged in a serious disagreement before the murder.

It is alleged that amidst the quarrel, Kagoda became angry, beat up and stabbed his wife with a knife on the chest, the back and the head. In the process of running for her life, Elizabeth collapsed at the doorway of their neighbour where she was found dead.

Police recovered, a knife and a stone at the scene, while a post-mortem has been done, pending further investigations.

Kasadha urged members of the public to always seek redress for any domestic-related issues at police, NGOs in place and local leadership to avoid regrettable incidents.
