90-year-old woman killed in Kawempe fire
Police at Kawempe are investigating an incident of suspected Arson that left a 90-year-old woman dead.
The deceased is Nanfuka Gertrude, 90 years a resident of Kanyogoga- Kawanda Central zone Nabweru Division Wakiso District who was burnt beyond recognition in her place of residence.
The incident happened on Tuesday (1/3/2022) at about 9pm.
Asp Luke Owoyesigyire the PRO KMP says Nanfuka’s 12-year granddaughter who has been living with her in the house told authorities that the deceased asked her to sleep in the living room something that was unusual, as it had never happened before.
