Security Guard Arrested for Attempted Murder in Kasese

Kasese Police at CPS is currently holding a suspect identified as Kubwimana George, a 24-year-old employee of A1-Security Company.

The arrest follows allegations of attempted murder against his colleague Kongai Merab. Both individuals were employed as security guards by A1-Security Company and were stationed at MMP Agro Industries Ltd in Kasese. The incident took place on May 22nd, 2023.

The victim was immediately rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital Kasese for medical attention. According to Asp Tumushime Nelson Spokesperson for Kasese, the suspect is detained at CPS Kasese, and authorities have recovered a rifle along with 5 rounds of ammunition. A
