Police Investigate mysterious death of Indian National in Rukungiri

The police in Rukungiri are investigating the mysterious death of a 26 year old Indian national one Kashvala Mayur Nathu.

Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional police spokesperson says the deceased a holder of passport book no N0024158 went to Rukungiri district and has been working as an Accountant with Blue Nile distributors limited.

On Thursday morning, Nathu allegedly left his home at Butimba village, Kinyasano ward, Western division Rukungiri municipality /district and went for work as usual.

At work, he fell sick and informed his work mate one Patel Mehul male adult aged 32yrs old also an Indian national who works as the sales manager and a resident on his phone 0787015318 who advised the deceased to go in his bedroom and have a  rest.

Shortly after, Patel went to check on him and found him badly off before calling a one Dr Asaph of case clinic Rukungiri who responded and confirmed that he was already dead.

Patel notified Rukungiri police station, scene of crime was visited, body taken to Mbarara referral hospital for postmortem, while inquiries are at hand to establish the likely cause of death.
