Police Investigate Aggravated Robbery at Tik Tok Fuel Station in Masindi

The police in Masindi are investigating an aggravated robbery case that occurred at Tok Tik Fuel Station in Pakanyi Trading Centre, Masindi District.

The incident happened during the night of November 26, 2024, when unknown assailants attacked the fuel station and overpowered two armed guards, Tugume Patrick and Jokindo Orisino, both employees of Securiko Uganda.

The guards were disarmed, tied up, and beaten, enabling the suspects to access the safe, from which they stole an unspecified amount of money.

SP Hakiza Julius Allan, the PRO for the Albertine region, stated that investigations are underway to identify the suspects. He added that one gun was abandoned at the scene, while the other was later recovered in a village called Kisanja. The two guards are currently in custody to assist with the investigation.
