POA Star Sandra Nansambu Entertains Fans At Akatuuti

After registering success in its debut appearance, the Pearl of Africa Star Search show is coming back with a second a edition.

According to Mr. Aly Alibhai, the second season of the show will be soon announced to the public to yet start another journey of identifying the best stars in the arts and music industry.

This was hinted on during the monthly Akatuuti music sessions headlined by POA Star winner Sandra Nansambu and hosted at Alliance Française de Kampala featuring other POA Star Search finalists; Carsten Yesuanjagala, Ebrahim Soul’ O,Tracy Melon, Agami Tony and Bruce Dickson among others.

At the show Mr. Alibhai applauded the POA finalists for their commitment and ability to go beyond their talents and encouraged Nansambu who revealed that she is ready for the big musical breakthrough and is optimistic she will appear on huge stages with the big names in the industry.

Alibhai urged POA stars to always shine on and bring their A games to achieve their goals and even beyond.

Meanwhile, Nansambu,a teenager who rose to fame after winning the first edition of the Pearl of Africa Star Search left fans is now going personal with her music career and is never about to give up the mic for anything.

Nansambu,who is in her senior year of high school, was the crowds’ favorite in the show over the weekend and she surely delivered magic throughout her 90-minute electrifying performance.

Sandra clad in a Kiganda dance and escorted by a troupe of female dancers after which her fellow POA star Finalists joined in, performing an emotional cover of their Hope song, which they composed as a challenge during the POA star semi-finals, the show was amazing and to the fans and guests in attendance, it was a one of a kind and applauded the star for her magical voice and performance.

Akatuuti is a program that aims to provide a platform for emerging creators in Uganda to develop their skills and visibility and this month’s edition featured the Pearl of Africa Stars.

By the end of the 90 Minute production,Nansambu, a Senior Six student with a limb impairment, who oozes confidence of an international icon, taking over the stage like she was born for it. Sandra Nansambu’s music is available on all music streaming platforms and is available for booking, interviews, humanitarian, and promotional campaigns through Talent Africa Group.

The event was directed by Brian Aliddeki and Mckenzie Brian and executive produced by Aly Allibhai. Akatuuti, The Pearl of Africa Star edition was sponsored by Talent Africa Group, Alliance Française Kampala, the French Embassy, and Total Energies.
