Miss Tourism Uganda Introduces New Regional Heads

In anticipation of this year’s Miss Tourism Uganda event, the organization has unveiled significant changes in its regional administration. The latest press release from Miss Tourism Uganda announces new appointments for the cluster heads across various regions.

Mrs. Kotina Akot, previously the cluster head for Northern Uganda, has been succeeded by Gloria Alele. In the Kigezi region, Mrs. Atwongyeire has been replaced by Zakia Lucky. These new appointees will be responsible for managing regional Miss Tourism events and preparing contestants for the national competition, Miss Tourism Uganda.

The next regional crowning ceremonies are scheduled for June 29th at Lira Hotel in Northern Uganda, and July 26th in the Rwenzori region. Winners from these events will advance to compete for the coveted Miss Tourism Uganda title at the grand finale on September 13th at Kampala Serena Hotel. The national winner will go on to represent Uganda at the Miss Tourism International pageant.

Currently, Nabukonde Kiyayi Ruokaya holds the title of Miss Tourism Uganda, having been crowned last September at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
