Grenade Official Ambushed And Swiftly Taken By Security Operatives At Fik Fameica’s Concert

While catching a breath following a lively performance at Lugogo Cricket Oval, singer Grenade Official, real name Deus Ndugwa, faced an unexpected turn of events as he was ambushed and swiftly whisked away from the venue by a team of security operatives.

The surprise unfolded when Grenade stepped onto the stage to entertain the crowd at Fik Fameica’s concert on Friday evening, showcasing his energy and talent to the relatively large audience gathered to support Fik Fameica on his special day.

The relationship between Grenade and Fik Fameica has been tense since September 2023 when Grenade, the Nkuloga singer, was asked by Fik Fameica to delete a music project they had collaborated on. Sharp words have been exchanged between the two artists ever since.

While the exact reason for Grenade’s arrest remains unclear, a source revealed that he was swiftly apprehended without causing much chaos. Reportedly, about six security operatives, some in plain clothes, surrounded Grenade and quickly escorted him away from the table where he was seated with friends from the media.

This incident comes on the heels of Grenade’s withdrawal from public appearances following a bar brawl in September 2023 involving him and Sheilah Gashumba’s boyfriend, Rickman. Grenade has been keeping a low profile since the altercation.
