From The UK To Uganda With Love, NSG Leave Kampala Women Yearning For More
One might describe Kampala City as the ‘Party capital’, and as it turns out, they’re not wrong.
This past weekend, Kampala citizens have quite the time of their lives following two much-hyped concerts that took place in the capital.
Tiwa Savage show, Club Dome, and Kizz Daniel are some of some concerts that have happened in the city among others including local concerts from Azawi, Fik Fameica.
Yesterday (3rd Saturday 2022), the Fast-rising music group NSG (an acronym for Non-Stop Grinding) was in the country gearing up for their headline second edition of the Club Pilsener-sponsored Malembe Block that happened at Lugogo Hockey Grounds.
Having already performed in some African countries like Zambia, Nigeria, and Ghana a few years back, the British group NSG put on a strong show performing their popular songs with the crowd singing and dancing to their tunes.
Influences of dancehall and afrobeats seep through each track.
The new project from NSG arrives after a flurry of singles in 2021, as well as their 2020 album, ‘Roots’ which included appearances from Chip, Tion Wayne, and Randy Valentine.
Other performers of the night included Ugandan stars like Mun G, Atlas Da African, Vamos256, Zagazillions, Etania, and Ziggy Dee as a surprise act their added more action to the show.
With tickets going for Ugx50,000 (Regular), Ugx100k (VIP), and Ugx2.5m (VVIP), it was a good turn-up on Saturday.
