Eddy Kenzo to Headline All Africa Festival’s Abu Dhabi Debut, UAE’s Premier Celebration of African Culture
Abu Dhabi is set to host the third edition of the award-winning All Africa Festival (AAF), the UAE’s largest celebration of Africa’s vibrant cultures. Taking place from February 2nd to 4th, 2024, the festival will feature A-List artists such as Omah Lay, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Eddy Kenzo, Tekno, Skales, Kofi Olomide, and Nora Fatehi, with Eddy Kenzo taking the lead as the headline act.
Operated in partnership with the UAE Africa Connect (UAEAC) platform, which celebrates the strong bond between the UAE and Sub-Saharan Africa, the festival promises a three-day extravaganza at the picturesque Etihad Park on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s family entertainment destination.
Attendees can anticipate a diverse showcase of pan-African cuisine, live art displays, creative installations, and fashion exhibits by UAE-based designers. The event, curated by Nina Olatoke, CEO, and Co-Founder of the All Africa Festival, aims to highlight Africa’s rich entertainment, food, and cultural experiences, welcoming residents and visitors from the UAE and the GCC region.
Moving the festival to Abu Dhabi is a strategic decision inspired by the city’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and cultural diversity. The UAE has become an attractive destination for African expats seeking opportunities in various fields, aligning with the festival’s goal to bridge cultures and celebrate diversity.
Working closely with UAE Africa Connect, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations, the All Africa Festival seeks to bring the vibrant energy of Africa to life through music, fashion, and art installations. The event plays a crucial role in promoting the African renaissance globally, showcasing genres like Amapiano and Afrobeats as platforms for cultural exchange.
Tickets for the All Africa Festival on Yas Island are now available for purchase, offering residents and tourists an opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique celebration of African culture in the heart of the UAE’s capital
