The deceased have been identified as Mugabi Ali, male, 04 years old, and Kagoya Lania, female, 02 years old, both children of Mutesi Sylvia and Mugabi Eyala, residents of Kasokoso in Iganga District.

According to SP Butoto Hellen, Pro Ssezibwa Region, it is alleged that on 7/04/2024, at around 21:00 hours, at Mayinja Village, Lunyanja Parish, Busamuzi Sub-County, in Buvuma District, Nandego Sarah, aged 43 years, a resident of the above-mentioned address, left her house to visit a latrine, accompanied by Mutesi Peace, female, 15 years old, Rauma Saida, female, 10 years old, and Kampi Sarah, female, 11 years old.
