UB40’s Ali Campbell Celebrates Reggae’s Unifying Power Ahead of Historic Uganda Concert

UB40 lead singer, Ali Campbell, also known as the frontman of ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell,’ has lauded reggae music as a unifying force for nations. The iconic band’s visionary shared this sentiment during a press conference held at Next Media Park in Naguru on Friday afternoon.

Set to take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Kololo Independence grounds, the ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Concert’ is poised to make reggae history in Uganda’s entertainment landscape. The event aligns seamlessly with NBS TV’s ‘15 Million Trees’ campaign, dedicated to planting 15 million trees across Uganda in the next three years.

Talent Africa Group, expressing their enthusiasm, sees the concert as a historic moment, bringing world-class entertainment to Uganda. Aly Alibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa Group, stated, “The ‘UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Concert’ will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all attendees.”

Joseph Kigozi, Next Media Deputy Group CEO, conveyed excitement about the event, highlighting its representation of Uganda’s vibrant spirit and diversity. He added, “It is an honor to celebrate NBS TV’s 15th anniversary alongside such an iconic band, about 15 years since they last were here. We look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience for Ugandans.”

Tickets for the concert are available on the MTN Momo app, www.tagticketing.com, or via the MTN USSD short code 16598#. Bronze tickets are priced at 100,000 UGX, silver at 200,000 UGX, while gold and platinum tables are available at 5 million UGX and 9 million UGX, respectively, each seating eight people. Physical tickets can be purchased at the Sheraton Hotel, NBS, and Talent Africa Group.
