Ali Campbell and Band Touch Down in Uganda for Spectacular ‘Nobody Can Stop Reggae’ Concert
At approximately 2:00 am, Ali Campbell and his 20-member band made a grand entrance at Entebbe International Airport, gearing up for their highly anticipated concert scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Kololo Independence Grounds.
In the final stages of preparation on Thursday, Kololo Independence Grounds buzzed with activity as NBS TV’s Douglas Lwanga journeyed to Kenya to personally welcome Ali Campbell at Kenyatta Airport.
Radiating warmth and joy, Ali Campbell, accompanied by his band, landed at Entebbe Airport on Friday morning. The country extended a gracious welcome, with Talent Africa C.E.O Aly Alibhai and Next Media’s Joe Kigozi leading the reception committee.
The buildup to the Ali Campbell show, titled “Nobody Can Stop Reggae,” has seen heightened anticipation in recent weeks. The concert, marking NBE Television’s 14th Anniversary, aims to contribute to environmental conservation by directing proceeds towards planting over 15 million trees in Uganda.
A star-studded affair awaits on Saturday at Kololo Independence Grounds, where local talents such as Bebe Cool, Navio, Vinka, and Rema Namakula, among others, will share the stage. Join us in welcoming Ali Campbell to the vibrant heart of Uganda!
