Singer Eddy Kenzo survives accident at Maya, Masaka Highway

Police are investigating a serious accident involving singer Edrisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo that occurred this morning on Masaka Highway.

The accident occurred at Maya trading Centre at around 8:30am, when Kenzo’s motor vehicle UBH 367XY heading to Masaka with occupants going for a burial, overturned at Stabex petro station.

Luke Owoyesigyire the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy spokesperson says the occupants were injured and are receiving first aid at Omega medical centre in Nakirebe-Mpigi district.

The wrecked car was towed to Nsangi police station. According to Owoyesigyire, they only managed to identify Eddy Kenzo, while his colleagues are yet to be identified.

The singer also took to his social media to inform his fans about the accident, but said they were all okay.

“We got an accident earlier today but we thank God for the protection we are all okay” Kenzo wrote on Facebook.
