Museveni Suspends Rubaga RCC Anderson Burora Over Attacks On Speaker Among

The Resident City Commissioner for Rubaga Division, Anderson Burora has been suspended over his recent attacks on Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among.

The suspension was communicated to Burora on Thursday by Hajji Yunus Kakande, the permanent secretary in the Office of the President.

Burora’s suspension comes on the backdrop of a series of attacks by the RCC against Speaker Among over her hefty expenditures on his social media handles.

The Speaker’s hefty expenditures have been a topic of discussion on social media for over two weeks.

It is said that when Among met President Museveni earlier this week, she could have reported Burora for the continuous attacks on her personally and Parliament.

Burora on Thursday evening posted a cryptic message on her social media handles, shortly after the news of his sacking was announced.

“Over my grave will my children see a picture of me kneeling before Anita Among,” he posted.
