Kids And Teens Pageant Global Uganda Launched To Empower Youth Talent

A new international beauty pageant aimed at children aged four to 17 years, titled Kids and Teens Pageant Global Uganda, was unveiled during a press launch at Nsambya Gardens in Kampala on April 9, 2024.

Doreen Namugenyi Bwgwanui, the spokesperson for the event, emphasized the inclusion of both boys and girls in the pageant, highlighting the need to address the previous exclusion of the boy child in such competitions.

She further mentioned that the pageant has successfully been organized in other countries, including Malaysia, where a Ugandan, Michela Amato, emerged as the winner this year.

The primary objective of the pageant is to foster discipline among young participants while nurturing their talents and boosting their confidence.

Auditions for the pageant are slated to take place on April 28, 2024, at the Golf Course Hotel in Kampala, providing a platform for aspiring young talents to showcase their abilities.
