Flavia Tumusiime Ventures Into Herbal product Business

Flavia Tumusiime has ventured into the wellness business. This after she officially unveiled her wellness centre dubbed Nella Organics on Saturday.

With two branches, one at Grand Imperial Hotel and the other at 4matic mall in Kiwatule, Flavia wants to help corporates pursue activities, choices, and lifestyles that contribute to holistic health. Towards this end, she has partnered with different experts including dieticians, fitness experts, and psychotherapists, among others. Nella Organics also offers skin care products and supplements.

Speaking to us, Flavia revealed that the idea for a wellness centre has been two years in the making and it came to her while pregnant with her first child.

“Pregnancy almost killed me, only to find out that it was not that the pregnancy but stress,” she told our reporter, adding that; “One of the things that I figured that really helps stress was not medication but what you eat. The second is every other lifestyle habit; do you sleep enough; do you exercise enough; is your body relaxed; all those things.”

“Nobody has the time, especially in the corporate world. We are very busy. So, our bodies generally need support because of our lifestyles.” She further noted.

She says that her dream is to have a full-fledged wellness centre that offers more than just advice and consultation on wellness and health issues, but give clients a more relaxing and immersive experience — a relaxation escape from the hustle and bustle of their daily work routine.
