Police search for assailants who killed 27-year-old man in Kamuli

Officers at Kamuli police station are investigating circumstances under which unknown assailants murdered a 27-year-old man and stole his Motorcycle Reg. No.UFM 041P Bajaj Boxer.

The deceased has been identified as Igaga Haman, resident of Budhumbula cell, Kamuli Namwendwa Ward, Southern Division, Kamuli Municipality.

Longole Mike the Ag PO Mt Moroto says that on 23/03/2022 at 2100/C, unknown assailants broke into Igaga’s house, hacked him with a panga to death, and dumped the body about 20 meters away before fleeing with his motorcycle.

Officers led by the Soco Kamuli Central police station visited the scene and conveyed the body to Kamuli general hospital mortuary.
