Beenie Gunter to join forces with Nutty Neithan and Ziza Bafana for the Dancehall Heat Rave
Dancehall star Beenie Gunter is going to be headlining the ‘The Dancehall Heat Rave’, slated for November 2nd at Garden City rooftop.
The event is meant tocelebrate Uganda’s vibrant dancehall scene while merging Ugandan and Jamaican cultures into an electrifying Afro-Caribbean experience.
Beenie Gunter is expected to bring his signature stage energy and perform fan-favorite hits like No Letting Go, Seekle Down, Pon Mi, Olina Work and Tubayo among others.
Beenie Gunter shared his enthusiasm, emphasizing the connection with fans and the genre’s revival. “We can’t wait to meet with our fans and share this special moment of the revival of Dancehall music with them. The support and love we’ve received throughout the years have been incredible, and we are excited to give back with an unforgettable performance.”
He is however not going to be the only performer at this event as Nutty Neithan, Vampino and Ziza Bafana will be bringing their energy to the stage as well.
During a press conference to unveil the show at Talent Africa offices on Wednesday, Talent Africa Group CEO Aly Allibhai expressed excitement about the upcoming event.
“This fest is a celebration of the incredible music and enduring legacy of Ugandan Dancehall Music. It’s a testament to the talent and the genre’s impact on the music industry in Uganda and beyond. We are thrilled and honored to serve as the official promoters and event organizers of the Dancehall Heat Rave, bringing together our passion for music with the excitement of this event,” he said.
The event also promises thrilling DJ showcases, featuring top talents like DJ Naselow, and surprise guest performances from prominent artists such as Navio, Big Tril, Lydia Jasmine, and Nina Rose.
Alongside the musical acts, attendees can look forward to dance battles, twerking competitions, and an array of DJ performances, ensuring a high-energy night packed with entertainment.
The atmosphere will be further enriched by a Jamaican fusion food experience, offering an authentic taste of Afro-Caribbean flavors and adding to the cultural blend.
