Kabale man in trouble for defiling 4 year old child

The police in Kabale have arrested a man identified as Julius Tabu for allegedly defiling a 4 years old girl.

The incident was reported to Katuna Police Station by Kwehangana Obed, the area chairman of Rwampiri cell, Katuna town council, Kabale district.

According to the report, it is alleged that on 7/12/2023 at around 12:00hrs at Rwampiri cell, Katuna town council, the suspect invited the victim together with her two other friends to collect passion fruits.

However, while at his house, he sent the friends to collect fruits out side and he remained with the victim inside the house where he eventually defiled her.

ASP Maate Elly the PRO Kigezi region says the officers visited the scene of crime and took relevant statements from witnesses.

The victim was also examined and the suspect is in police custody.
