Warafiki to battle it out with Navio, John Blaq and Elijah Kitaka in HiPipo awards

In just two years, Warafiki have achieved much more than some artists. From performing on some of the biggest stages, the trio comprising Tori (Victoria Nalugwa), Eyla (Damalie Nalugwa) and Treezy (Patricia Debra Nakalembe) have gotten their first award nominations.

The girls signed to Fenon events have been nominated in two categories in the just released HiPipo music awards.

The first category they received a nod in is the Best Video category where they will be in contention with Irene Namatovu’s Shika, Mad Infinity by Navio, Ku Kiddo by John Blaq, Sheeba’s Wakikuba, Spice Diana and Anko Ronie’s Forever. The video that earned them a slot is Tetubafanana which was directed by Edrine Paul.

The Bwekati artists also got a nomination in the Breakthrough artist category but will have to tussle it out against Aaronx, Elijah Kitaka, Fikie Gaza, Pretty Banks, Jamie Ategeka, Bridgette Mars and Spyda Mc.
