Shameless father arrested for defiling 10 year old biological daughter

Police has in custody a 40-year-old man and resident of Ntawo in Mukono District for allegedly defiling his 10-year-old Biological daughter.

Twiine M Charles the CID spokesperson identifies the suspect as Umar Lubega Katula. It is alleged that the suspect, between December Jan 2021 and March 2021, at Ntawo villages in Mukono Districts forcefully had sex with the victim especially at night from his bedroom.

Investigations reveal that Umar fathered the girl from Nakiguli Suzan but the two never stayed together, but have been in touch and both providing for the well being of their daughter.

“It was further established that at the beginning of 2020, Umar insisted that he wanted to stay with his child and take her to better schools within Mukono District, lest he would never provide anything to the mother and the daughter. Suzan succumbed to the pressure and surrendered the kid unknowing of Umar’s mischievous acts” Twiine says.

The victim alleges that on several occasions, her father forced her into sexual intercourse, terribly rapturing her private parts, but also threatening to kill her if she revealed the act.

“The victim stealthy revealed her agony to a neighbour who shamelessly offered to give her herbs to strengthen her body in order to accommodate the man’s monstrous acts of defilement. The victim later escaped from her home and traced the home of her mother in Luweero with a lot of difficult, considering the fact that she had no money for transport” he added.

Investigations are complete and the case file will be forwarded to the DPP for possible sanctioning on charges of Aggravated Defilement.
