Notorious thug killed in Kamwokya, assailants take off with his private parts

The police in Kampala are hunting for unknown people who killed a notorious suspected thief in Mulimira zone and took off with his private parts.    

The deceased only identified as Onyango was killed on Sunday morning and the attackers chopped-off his private parts before dumping his lifeless body along the Old-Kira road that stretches from Kamwokya to Bukoto in Kampala capital city. 

Although Onyango has met a gruesome end, the area local leaders say it is good riddance.

The defense secretary of Old Kira road zone in Bukoto parish Mugabe Adrian, says the deceased has been known as one of thugs terrorizing the residents in Bukoto and Kamwokya slums at night.    

He noted that many residents had evidence against Onyango as one of thugs who have been involved in several burglaries and that recently, the same group broke into a woman’s house and took off with UGX 400,000sh and a laptop.  

However, some residents suspect this was a ritual murder by people who were looking for human body parts. Detectives from Kira-road police station who visited the scene recovered a knife and a number of master keys in deceased’s clothes. His body has been conveyed to the city mortuary Mulago.
