MUBS Gears Up for the Biggest Cultural Gala on April 4
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Cultural Gala, an annual event that brings together students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their heritage. Organized by the Guild Government in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students, the festival serves as a platform for cultural expression and unity.
This year’s edition, scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2025, will run under the theme: “Rooted Tradition and Growing Towards Sustainability.” The event promises a vibrant display of traditions, featuring competitions in traditional dances, drama, storytelling, skits, and more. Various student associations will battle for top honors through their artistic and cultural performances.
Adding to the excitement, Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda is set to deliver an electrifying experience. According to Macklean Kukundakwe, the Country Manager for Trade and Marketing, attendees can look forward to a high-energy show featuring top entertainers, including Fik Fameica and Vinka alongside an outstanding DJ lineup.
Students, alumni, and culture enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and immerse themselves in a celebration of diversity, talent, and tradition.
