Miss Uganda 2022/23 To Be Crowned Next Weekend

The 21 Miss Uganda finalists from 12 regions of Uganda assembled at  Sheraton Hotel in Kampala on Saturday, March 4, to exhibit their talents.

The event held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala started at 7:00 pm and ended at 11:00 pm, fans traveled from different parts of the country to support their queens.

The supporters blew vuvuzelas, ululated, and beat drums as their representatives walked the runway.

The 21 finalists were scouted from the countrywide search that commenced in January across five regions including the newly included West Nile region. There was a pre-selection session as well held in Kampala to whittle out the final 21 who will battle for the ultimate tiara next month.

According to Miss Uganda management, they said that guests expect more beautiful presentations at the grand finale that is scheduled for the Kampala Serena Hotel on 17th March 2023.

The question now is, who will take the crown on March 17 after this year’s contestants were unveiled to the public over the weekend in a glamorous event held at Kampala Serena Hotel.
