Man shot dead while visiting girlfriend in Napak

The Police in Napak have arrested 4 people following a murder by shooting of Lomuria John Bosco, 28yrs a boda boda rider and resident of Napao village, Poron Parish, Poron Sub-county, in Napak District.

The incident happened on Sunday evening at about 2100hrs in Nawaikirot A village, Nawaikirot Parish, Ngoleriet Sub-county, Napak District.

AIP Longole Mike the Ag. PRO Mt Moroto says Lomuria was shot dead by suspected cattle rustlers armed with SMG riffles when he had come to Ngoleriet to visit his girlfriend identified as Look Kevin.

Detectives visited the scene with a K9 dog which led them to 4 suspects including those who were residing in the same hut with the decease.

The officers also recovered

“3 cartridges. We are yet to establish the motive of the murder,” says Longole.

The body has been taken to Matany Hospital for Postmortem.
