Joint Security Forces recover 23 heads of cattle from Turkana raiders

Joint Security Forces have recovered twenty-three (23) heads of cattle that were raided by Turkanas from Kenya on 9/1/2024 at around midnight in Kalapata Kraals, Kaabong District.

The animals were all recovered by joint security forces together with the help of peace residents from the general areas of Naontosi towards the borders with Kenya.

IP Longole Mike the Ag. PRO MT MOROTO/ASTU confirmed that the cattle raid was master minded by wrong elements from Turkana County in Kenya who have continued destabilizing peace in the border areas.

“As joint security forces we assure the public of our protection from these external aggressors. We salute our personnel deployed in Kalapata, Losera, Kamion and Lotinyam for the good Job they are doing. Safety of wanahinchi with their property remains our major priority,” says Longole.
