“Fumba” Returns to YouTube After Copyright Mix-Up

The track was already a big trend online, enlisting mesmerising dance challenges on platforms such as TikTok.

In the song featuring Irene Namatovu, Nandujja takes on the familiar, “Senga” (auntie) roles, counselling a young niece on best marriage practices.

The lyrics are instructive on taking care of the lady’s husband, feeding him on time and even “overdosing” him with love.

A few days back Mariam Massa came out and said that she is the rights to the “Fumba” song and she removed the song from YouTube. While speaking on Spark TV singer Irene Namatovu said that the song belonged to her and didn’t breach any YouTube rights. As you read this song is cleared and it’s back on her YouTube Channel.

She also thanked her fans as she posted on her social media page.
