Former Kakuuto County MP, Mathias Kasamba is dead

Hon. Mathias Kasamba, the former Kakuuto County MP, also member of the East African Legislative Assembly, EALA is dead.

Kasamba’s death was announced by the National Resistance Movement, NRM Party Secretary General Kasule Lumumba on Tuesday evening.

“The NRM Secretariat regrets to announce the passing on of our colleague, Hon Mathias Kasamba, the Director of Mobilisation and Cadre Identification, and member of the East African Legislative Assembly. We are in touch with the family and Nakasero Hospital where he had been hospitalized. We shall keep you posted about any future developments. May his soul rest in peace” Lumumba wrote.

Kasamba has been an active member of EALA representing Uganda, and his tenure was meant to end in 2022.
