Another child beheaded in Mityana

Shock and grief have rocked Mityana after a headless body of a male child was discovered wrapped in a sack and dumped in Kizzikibi swamp of Kisaana Village in Malangala Sub County.
 
Racheal Kawala the Wamala Regional Police spokesperson told the press that the deceased is aged between 5 and 6 but his identity is yet to be established.

The torso has been taken to Mityana hospital mortuary as police hunts for the killers who took off with the victim’s head.

When arrested, the suspects face charges of murder. Kawala urged members of the community whose child may have gone missing to consult the police in Mityana for identification of the body.

Last week, the police in Kampala arrested a 22 year old man with a child’s head at Parliament. He claimed the head was a gift to Speaker Rebbecca Kadaga. It was later discovered that the head belonged to a couple that had given the killer a roof over his head in Masaka.
