There is no DP without me- Museveni reiterates

President Yoweri Museveni has reiterated his statement that there is no Democratic Party, DP without him. The president made the statement earlier today during a ceremony at which he signed a cooperation agreement with Norbert Mao the DP President.

During the event that happened on Wednesday, Museveni congratulated Mao for agreeing to work with the ruling NRM party. “Chairman Mao, congratulations on agreeing to work with the NRM, it is something that should have happened at the top level long ago. You know the history, I keep telling you that DP without Museveni is not a serious group,” said Museveni.

On his side, Mao praised Museveni as a great captain of a ship called Uganda and noted that Ugandans must continue praying for him to steer the ship well.

“We are committed to adhering to what we have agreed to. We have signed it in good faith and we trust that you have signed in good faith,” said Mao.
