Bunyoro Region Crowns Victoria Nyakalebeki As Miss Tourism 2024/25
In a stunning display of grace, talent, and beauty, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki was crowned Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region 2024/25 at the esteemed Kabalega Resort in Masindi on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The event, which attracted an illustrious audience, marked a significant milestone for the 22-year-old Makerere University student, as she became the first Miss Tourism Bunyoro hailing from Kiryandongo District. Mbabazi Immaculate earned the title of 1st runner-up, while Ayesiga Daphine claimed the 2nd runner-up position.
The evening’s celebration, spanning from 8:00 pm to 11:45 pm, was a vibrant tribute to Bunyoro’s rich cultural heritage. Local artists showcased their talents, and the ceremony exuded elegance, leaving the audience enthralled. Victoria’s victory was met with thunderous applause, acknowledging her intelligence, charm, and dedication to promoting tourism in the Bunyoro region.
As the newly crowned queens, Victoria, Immaculate, and Daphine will champion tourism development, environmental preservation, and regional progress. Their win reflects their commitment and effort, positioning them to create a meaningful impact on their community and beyond.
The event was attended by various distinguished guests, including Eng. Asiimwe Jonard, the guest of honor, officials from the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, Miss Tourism Uganda-PA, and representatives from Link Bus Services Ltd, who graciously offered the top three winners a year of complimentary transportation services.
Victoria’s groundbreaking achievement ushers in a new era for the Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region pageant, which aims to foster tourism growth and development in the area. As the first-ever Miss Tourism Bunyoro from Kiryandongo District, Victoria is poised to make a lasting difference in her community and serve as an inspiration to others.
Congratulations to Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki, the new Miss Tourism Bunyoro 2024/25, along with Mbabazi Immaculate and Ayesiga Daphine, the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. They will go on to represent Bunyoro at the national competition.
The trio will compete on a national stage at the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale, set to take place on September 14 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
