Beenie Gunter shares stage with Awilo Mafikizolo and Alikiba at Afro-Fest in Canada
Beenie Gunter represented Uganda very well at the concluded Afro-fest in Toronto Canada after impressing with an energetic performance.
The Ugandan dancehall artiste was among the headlining acts during the event that ran from the 5th to the 7th of July and his songs including Seekle Down, Tubayo and Pon Mi among left the audience yearning for more.
Speaking after the event, Beenie Gunter could not hide his excitement sharing the stage with some big names he never expected.
“I am excited for this opportunity to perform alongside industry heavyweights like Alikiba and Awilo Longomba is a testament to the hard work and dedication I’ve poured into my craft. It shows that I am ready to run with the big names in the industry, and I’m excited for the world to witness this,” he stated.
Besides Awilo and Alikiba, Beenie Gunter also shared the stage with the legendary Grammy-nominated group Mafikizolo from South Africa.
From gracing the streets of Canada-Toronto Beenie Gunter is back in the country and preparing for his first concert dubbed the ‘Guntalk Festival’ scheduled for the 21st of September 2024 at the Garden City rooftop organized by Talent Africa Group, East Africa’s Leading events and Management Company.
