DJ Slick Stuart Nominated for ‘Event DJ of the Year’ at 2023 Africa Event Awards

Since receiving his nomination, the affable and soft-spoken disc jockey has undergone a remarkable transformation in the way he carries himself, communicates, and even chooses his dining spots.

On Monday, he took to social media to proudly share the official invitation letter and email he received from the organizers of the prestigious 2023 Africa Event Awards.

Kavuma Stuart, known by his stage name “Slick Stuart,” has earned a nomination in the highly coveted ‘Event DJ of the Year’ category for this year’s 2023 Africa Event Awards.

The letter, addressed to his management, not only acknowledged his outstanding work but also recognized his significant contributions to the event industry across the African continent.

The grand ceremony for the Africa Event Awards is scheduled to take place this Friday at the residence of the South African High Commissioner in Accra, Ghana.

The winners in each category will be determined through public votes, which can be cast through a dedicated voting portal now accessible for public participation.

Originally known as the Ghana Event Awards, the Africa Event Awards was founded in 2016 with the mission to recognize and celebrate the exceptional efforts of African event managers and organizers in crafting impactful and unforgettable event experiences throughout the continent.
