Search For Miss Tourism Uganda 2023 Queen Kicks Off

And before the national competition, the nine regional queens will undergo training in a boot camp, to equip them with knowledge about tourism, and conservation and prepare them as tourism ambassadors.

The  2023 edition will be a special one as they will be celebrating 11 years in the pageant industry.

Under the theme of Greening Tourism, Aisha Nagudi the C.E.O said they are looking at several ways of promoting tourism not only through culture but also through planting trees since previous campaigns have focused on wildlife conservation.

Speaking to guests also was the current Miss Tourism Uganda Sydney Nabulya Kavuma who said she learned a lot while in the boot camp, including how to speak and behave while in public.
