It is definitely his world and the rest of us are possibly gliding through it in a haze. The Ugandan designer continues with his global conquest. His latest highlight is in West Africa, where he showcased a set of unique pieces at the Nook International Fashion Weekend in Nigeria last month.
The designer who is synonymous with these unique and daring pieces that push the boundaries of fashion showcased an all-female collection that consisted of bold colors and statement silhouettes. The feminine collection had the designer’s heart and effort written all over it.
For day two, the award-winning designer unveiled yet another remarkable collection, a celebration of masculinity, with the designs being bold, edgy, and style approved.
He then headed to the city of Lome’ in Togo for the second leg of his West African showcase tour, unveiling a flamingo hue monotone collection at the FIMO228.
In a statement after the showcase, Abbas said the vision with these collections was to celebrate life and bring that vibe to the Nook International Fashion Weekend and FIMO228.
“I wanted to show the world that Ugandan fashion is bold, creative, and daring. And I believe we hit that goal with this collection. I am incredibly proud of my team and excited to see where the Kai’s Divo Collection Brand goes from here,” he explained.
