Update; Police arrest MC Elvis over Freedom City new year stampede
The team of investigators probing the tragic new year concert incident, where 10 concertgoers died at Freedom City, has arrested Elvis Francis Juuko the event’s MC who has been on the run.
Juuko was arrested from his hideout in Mityana District.
SSP Patrick Onyango the PRO KMP says the suspect has been brought back to Kampala and is being detained at Katwe Police station.
He is charged with Rash and Negligent Acts.
The event’s promoter Abby Musinguzi alias Abitex has already been charged to court with 9 counts of Rash or Negligent Acts causing death C/S 277 of the Penal code Act.
