Two men arrested with SMG rifle, 7 rounds of ammunition & stolen motorcycle in Kyegegwa

The Police in Kyegegwa District have arrested two criminals and recovered an SMG rifle with seven rounds of ammunition.

The duo also had a stolen motorcycle registration number UFD 954L and several other items.

The duo was identified as; Bataringaya Godfrey- 36 years, a resident of Nyabugando Village, Kiyagara Parish, Kamwenge Sub County, Kamwenge District and Katamba Abudul Akim, 48, a resident of Mijunju village, Songi Parish, Kibito Sub County, Bunyangabo District.

Police have opened deeper investigations into the matter and the suspects will be arraigned in courts of law.
