President Museveni Appoints Sandor Walusimbi As New Senior Presidential Press Secretary

President Yoweri Museveni has appointed a new Senior Presidential Press Secretary.

According to the Deputy Press Secretary, Farouk Kirunda, Museveni has appointed Sandor Walusimbi as the Senior Press Secretary, replacing Lindah Nabusayi, who has been posted elsewhere.

Kirunda confirmed in a tweet saying, “I take the pleasure to congratulate my brother, Sandor Walusimbi, upon his appointment as the Senior Press Secretary to H. E the President. I have no doubt in your ability to deliver. I also thank my sister, Linda, for her service and wish her wonders in her new posting.”

Walusimbi has been the communication officer at the State House Anti-Corruption Unit headed by Gen Henry Isoke.

Nabusayi has diligently served in the Presidential Press Unit (PPU) for more than 20 years before heading the unit in 2021 after Don Wanyama was appointed Vision Group CEO.
